Technical University of Denmark

Centre for Electric Power and Energy (CEE), Department of Electrical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark has a large amount of experience in areas of renewable integration, operation and control as well as all aspects of power system technology. The project will be jointly carried out by the Electric Power Components group and the Electric Power Systems group in CEE.

Siemens

Siemens A/S is a German multinational engineering and electronics conglomerate company headquartered in Munich and Berlin, Germany. It is the largest Europe-based electronics and electrical engineering company.

The synchronous condenser department is located at Siemens Denmark. Siemens has the competence to manufacture nearly the entire SC system. Recently Siemens has successfully installed a synchronous condenser at Bjæverskov substation in Denmark. The SC has significantly contributed to system operation after it was commissioned.
